New Year, New Me
Everybody have their own new year resolution. And of course, I also have my own. It's time to push the reset button, recall the year gone by, and set intentions for the year ahead. Even though I appreciate the experiences gathered within the previous year, they will always be important in relation to change. This year I have chosen to do more be it seeking for opportunities for self-improvement, furthering my health or building meaningful connections. The beginning of the year is the greatest opportunity to start over and this is the perfect time to set targets and directs all efforts towards reaching for the best.
And speaking of changes, I am already implementing some of the changes for the upcoming year. I have decided to lead a healthier lifestyle and this involves both eating right, and doing exercises regularly. Moreover, I consider the time devoted to my interests and hobbies as time well spent, and I will try to keep things in check and have a better time management. This is much bigger than mere self-control.
Nevertheless, it should be understood that there will be of course difficulties along the way. There will always be difficulties in bringing about change and also the likelihood of reverting. But I will of course do my best overcome these challenges, and I look at these obstacles as steps along the way. The saying “new year new me” is not about re-inventing who you are, but rather, it is about movement and transformation of who you are.
